It’s another reason to visit IKEA during the winter season; whether you’re after some new thick quilt covers and wool throws to keep extra warm during the winter season, or just here for the meatballs.”

IKEA Family Buy Back

From 26 June, IKEA Family members can trade in their pre-loved IKEA furniture to receive a refund card with an additional 15% in value, helping them to replace the old with the new. The limited-time Buy-back offer is part of the IKEA commitment to providing stylish, functional and affordable home furnishings for the many Australians.

“We believe that great products aren’t just about great design and quality, but are also sustainable, accessible, and most importantly, affordable.” Aleksandr Moshkalev, Country Selling Manager, says. “The Buy Back program empowers our customers to take part in the circular economy and reduce their environmental impact when wanting to upgrade, or downgrade, their home, one piece of furniture at a time”

Customers and IKEA Family members are able to generate a quote, get a refund card which they can then use to make new purchases on IKEA home furnishing and accessory products. Whilst those pre-loved IKEA items are resold through our As-is department instore and online, keeping them from ending up in landfill. This is an efficient and sustainable way Aussies can make those improvements across the home that they’ve been putting off this school holidays; whether it’s a full room upgrade or smaller changes.

The IKEA Buy-back offer is available to IKEA Family members when attaining a Buy-back service quote between 26 June to 21 July.
