Venessa Cowell, Director of Food Events, Fairfax Media said: “Good Food Month is so much more than what lands on your plate. That el pastor taco you’re eating? That savoury croissant stuffed with spanner crab? They weren’t spun out of thin air; they’re the product of wild adventures and travels, the memories of family meals, the mentors who led the way and what’s happening on the streets at this very moment. Our 2017 programme celebrates everything that goes into producing a dish and the memories that are created once you taste it”.
