‘Adventure meets ultimate luxury’ – that should be the motto of Riviera’s outstanding new 58 Sports Motor Yacht, which has been unveiled just in time for Christmas.

The 58 SMY is the latest in a long and exceptional lineup of Sports Motor Yachts created by Riviera and will no doubt be the talk of boating enthusiasts this summer.

Uniquely designed to offer an all-water sports cockpit, walk-around side decks, foredeck lounge and entertaining zone, all-weather alfresco covered deck, spacious and luxurious saloon and magnificent accommodation.

Valued at $3.8 million, the 58 SMY will have her boat show premiere in the United States at the Miami

International Boat Show in February 2024. The vessel will be unveiled for the first time at Riviera’s Gold Coast manufacturing facility today (December 8) before being christened at night by her new owners at an exclusive ceremony.

Other new owners whom Riviera holds forward orders for will also be in attendance, travelling to the Gold Coast from Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and New Zealand.

“Our amazing team of 900 craftspeople is creating truly world-class luxury motor yachts,” Riviera owner Rodney Longhurst says. “This new 58 Sports Motor Yacht is the newest addition to our Sports Motor Yacht collection and is a very special yacht indeed, and she will soon be admired and enjoyed on the great waterways of the world.”

It comes as the iconic Gold Coast luxury boat builder returns from an extremely successful Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show where it welcomed 25 new members to the ‘Riviera family’ of motor yacht owners, selling yachts valued at more than $68.7 million.

Riviera is on track to deliver 150 yachts in 2023 and exported yachts valued at more than $156 million last financial year to 15 countries, including the United States, New Zealand, Thailand, Puerto Rico, Spain, Germany and Croatia.

Riviera began producing its renowned Sports Motor Yacht range six years ago, which now includes the 46, 50, 64, 68 and 72 models, as well as the new 58. The latest edition offers accommodation for up to eight adults plus a crew member and is a fully-fledged blue water adventure yacht.

“The 58 truly is the best of both worlds,” Longhurst says. “With a three stateroom, three bathroom accommodation deck, plus a utility or laundry room, the 58 SMY has got every luxurious comfort of a five-star hotel; and with twin 1000 horsepower engines, she has the range and capability of extended cruises or weekend escapes.”
