Piazza D’Oro, the coffee with 25 years of knowledge and craftsmanship in roasting, is calling all coffee enthusiasts to celebrate the art of coffee ahead of International Coffee Day at Meidy’s Cafe in Bondi, by becoming their very own barista with an exclusive latte art workshop, free-flowing coffees and a brunch menu curated by MKR chef Arrnott Olssen.
In partnership with Nathan School of Coffee, Piazza D’Oro will be hosting this special coffee masterclass on the 28 of September 2024 ahead of International Coffee Day on the 1st of October. The special event will feature hands-on training with Nathan, where guests will create their very own bespoke latte art, alongside a thorough exploration into the versatility of Piazza D’Oro coffee beans. In order to showcase the skills learnt in the hands on brunch, each guest will be awarded a certificate in latte art from the Nathan Coffee School.
Not only will guests learn how to create their own stunning latte art, but also included within the booking is an indulgent gourmet menu specially curated by My Kitchen Rules star Arrnott Olssen. The TV chef will bring influences of his Fijian heritage to this special menu designed to pair perfectly with the Organic blend from Piazza D’Oro, which guests will enjoy through free-flowing coffees and an espresso martini to finish.
Arrnott Olssen has spent time recipe testing with Piazza D’Oros Organic Blend, to create a menu infused with coffee. From french toast with whipped Piazza D’Oro coffee cream to a tropical bircher muesli with a coffee caramel drizzle, guests will be able to sample the beans they are learning about in all ways possible.
Meidy’s Cafe is a quaint venue in the heart of Bondi. The cafe boasts a multicultural environment blending various cultures and languages that results in a soulful venue that is loved by the locals of Bondi and wider Sydney.
For just $25, coffee enthusiasts will receive certification in latte art, two hours of free flowing coffee with a specially curated dish from Arrnott Olssen with an espresso martini to finish. The one-off masterclass will take place on the 28 September from 1pm – 3pm.
