Perched above the acclaimed Sarnies カフェ Sukhumvit 37, F*nkytown exudes an irresistible charm, blending nostalgic allure with contemporary flair under the visionary leadership of the Sarnies team. Guided by Group Beverage Manager, Pae Ketumarn, F*nkytown introduces guests to its unique Funkiness Scale — an innovative approach that guides patrons through a spectrum of flavours and textures, ensuring each cocktail is a journey of discovery and delight.

F*nkytown Returns Home to Shanghai at Sober Company

On Tuesday 7 May, Pae Ketumarn returns to his roots at Sober Company in Shanghai, ready to bring the funk to China, highlighting a range of F*nkytown’s signature cocktails. Starting from 8pm, guests can indulge in the refreshing Winter Melon Soup, a tantalising blend of winter melon infused with chicken fat-washed gin, olive brine, preserved lime, and a touch of soda, offering savoury and citrus notes.

For a taste of Southeast Asia, the Durian Colada presents a luscious fusion of durian, white rum, jasmine rice essence, coconut, and pineapple, finished with a creamy coconut float. Meanwhile, the Green Curry entices the palate with aromatic spices of Thai green curry, balanced by the botanical complexity of gin, fresh cucumber, pineapple, and a velvety egg white texture. Those craving a sweet indulgence can savour the Pain Au Matcha, featuring sourdough croissant orgeat, dark rum, port, matcha, and a silky egg yolk foam, offering a delightful blend of sweet and savoury flavours. Finally, the Pâté Old-fashioned offers a sophisticated twist with duck pâté butter, bourbon, fig honey, red wine jus, and a hint of onion brine, promising a modern interpretation of a classic favourite.

Unforgettable Evening of Craft Cocktails at Neon Pigeon

On Tuesday 14 May from 8pm, F*nkytown takes its signature flair to Neon Pigeon in Singapore, offering guests an extraordinary evening of craft cocktails. The menu includes the refreshing Melon Cream Soda, blending Okinawa Gin 01 with pandan, clarified Campari, tonic water, and melon sorbet, creating a perfect balance of sweetness and bitterness.

Guests can indulge in the rich flavours, and enjoy the Tokyo Banana, featuring Kujira whisky, miso butter, banana water, white cacao, lemon, and egg white, evoking the essence of Tokyo’s vibrant streets. For a tantalising journey for the taste buds, the Kim-u-chi offers a fusion of flavours with Okinawa Gin 02, gochujang, yuzu, shiso leaf, kimchi juice, and plum salt. Finally, Umai! invites guests to savour the complexity of Kujira whisky, F*nkytown’s vintage umeshu, aged rice wine, and a special bitters blend, creating a truly unique and unforgettable cocktail experience.

Experience F*nkytown’s Signature Flair at Oriental Elixir

The next day, on Wednesday 15 May, F*nkytown will bring its unique vibe to Oriental Elixir in Singapore, promising guests an evening of innovative cocktails infused with F*nkytown’s signature flair. From 7PM, guests can experience the exotic flavours the Winter Melon Soup, as well as the Durian Colada, which blends Daimyo-no Shinobu whisky, jasmine rice, coconut, pineapple, clarified coconut, and durian cream, for a tropical twist on a classic cocktail. Indulge in the aromatic spices of the Green Curry, or enjoy a sophisticated twist on a classic favourite with the Pâté Old-fashioned.

Chef Oat & Heh Takeover F*nkytown in Bangkok

On Wednesday 29 May at 6pm, guests can embark on a culinary journey as Tatler’s Rising Star Chef Oat from Heh Phuket takes over F*nkytown’s kitchen. During this event, Chef Oat will showcase his expertise by using locally sourced seafood from the Andaman Sea. Each dish will be a celebration of the ocean’s bounty, expertly crafted to entice the senses and ignite the imagination.

F*nkytown is now open to the public and available for bookings online. Enter through Sarnies カフェ Sukhumvit and take the stairs until you see F*nkytown.
