The B-Corp certified distillery from Byron Bay has released a gin flavoured with rainforest botanicals carefully selected by the winning bartenders from the 2023 reGINeration Australian Cocktail Competition. A collaboration between Co-founder Eddie Brook and Australian bartenders,

The cocktail competition and the gin were both designed to bring awareness to World Rainforest Day in June. Something that Brookie’s holds close to their hearts.
The bartender’s prize for winning the competition was the opportunity to create their own signature gin during a bartender’s retreat at the distillery. Some of the feature ingredients include Quandong, Native Raspberry, Native River Mint, Rosella and a touch of salt water.
This limited-edition gin will be release at the start of June, in time to acknowledge World Rainforest Day on 22 June 2024. Part of this initiative from the distillery will see 1 rainforest tree planted for every bottle of Brookie’s Rainforest Gin sold. That’s 1000 trees to be planted from the proceeds of this limited-edition gin.
And if that wasn’t enough of an incentive, Brookie’s are giving away an epic prize including the ultimate rainforest experience, a VIP tour with Co-founder Martin Brook aka the ‘Rainforest Whisperer’, and afterwards enjoy an indulgent dinner at Crystal Brook Byron ‘forest Restaurant’ to round off the tree bathing day.

World Rainforest Day celebrates the importance of healthy, standing rainforests for climate, biodiversity, culture, and livelihoods— and convenes a global movement to protect and restore them.
Rainforest is part of the Brookie’s DNA, the Brook family have regenerated their private property by planting over 40,000 rainforest trees and advocates for local rainforest organisation, The Big Scrub Conservancy.
The unique double sided label has been designed by Brookie’s good mate and artist, Benjamin Ross, based out of Mona Vale, Sydney which highlights the botanicals and the Byron lifestyle.
Just 1000 bottles have been produced of this limited-edition gin.
