With a fresh outlook, Wine Island returns to offer a unique “Holiday on the Harbour” experience at a new destination in Watsons Bay from Friday 29 November to Sunday 1 December. Nestled amongst the palm trees of the stunning Gap Bluff in the NSW National Park, this undiscovered oasis will transport guests to a hidden paradise, with panoramic views over Sydney Harbour.
The event will feature cellar doors from acclaimed wineries, including Kies Family Wines, DAS Juice, Chateau Tanunda, Rameau d’Or, Irvine Wines, Taltarni & Clover Hill Wines, Tar & Roses, Thomas Wines, and more.
A diverse line up of drinks from iconic holiday hotspots will be available, including Broulee Brewhouse, which brings the magic of the South Coast of NSW, Papa Salt gin evoking the coastal charm of Byron Bay, and Lūla Rum infusing the sunny spirit of Queensland into every cocktail.
Step into the Amalfi Beach Club, where the breathtaking harbour views are paired with exquisite Italian wines, spritzes, and mouth-watering beachside pizzettes. It’s a slice of the Mediterranean, right in the heart of Sydney.
The Flavour Fiesta dining precinct will showcase the vibrant flavours of Latin America and Spain, featuring cuisine from Sydney restaurants, Carbón, Cancun Boat Club, Santa Catarina, Brazilian Flame and BrOz Burger, complemented by a selection of Tequilas, Mezcals, and Margaritas that will transport you to sun-soaked shores.
Wine Island is as much about immersive experiences as it is about taste. Dive into a variety of activities designed to engage and entertain, from unleashing your creativity at the Pottery & Plonk workshop to finding mindfulness with Yoga & Unwined, or expanding your wine knowledge at the Wine Selectors Tasting Terrace. For those ready to let loose, Club Tropicana offers a playful pairing of music and wine in a vibrant tropical silent disco.
