Sunset Cinema returns to the iconic North Sydney Oval for its 10th season, illuminating the picturesque grandstand with 35 films and offering a great opportunity to enjoy the warmer weather with your family, mates or dates.
Because movies are best enjoyed with a great bevvie, there will be a fully stocked bar with beverages from Greenall’s Gin, Big Drop Brewing, Fowles Wine, StrangeLove, and BentSpoke, as well as hearty eats by local food vendor, Casa Fine Foods.

The Valentine’s Day set menu starts with Pumphouse’s signature seafood platter to share with Sydney Rock Oysters, chargrilled king prawns, ocean trout crudo and fish rillettes. For the main, choose from the corn-fed chicken breast, SA snapper or gourmet steak fries. To finish the evening a red velvet cake with raspberry sorbet and white chocolate. ‘Once Upon a Time’ – Chapter 3
Always one to flip the memories of our favourite characters on its head, this year Nelly will be plating up Winnie the Pooh’s best and smallest friend – our beloved Piglet. Confit pork belly glazed in honey and topped off with carrots from the always gloomy Eeyore, ‘Hundred Acre Wood’ is the most delicious rendition of our favourite story you will see.
Another highlight from the menu, and one that is already a firm favourite of the nel. Restaurant team is the incredible Boo’s Best Friend – a white chocolate and mint parfait resembling Mike Wazowski’s eye topped with James P. Sullivan coloured fairy floss.

Watson’s Valentine’s Eve
Sunday 13th February 2022 will be a night to remember with sexy tunes, live by Pu-Siki from 5pm until late, rom coms on the mega screen, a free glass of Prosecco and a special treat on the house.
Enjoy an evening of love song dedications and R&B favourites with a cocktail in hand like the Strawberry Sorbet Martini or a sexy and strong classic like a Negroni.
