To celebrate Frozen the Musical reopening in Melbourne, premier retail destination, St. Collins Lane, has entered into an exclusive partnership with Disney Theatrical Productions that will see Anna’s spectacular coronation gown displayed in centre until January 24.

Celebrating the award-winning musical’s limited season at Her Majesty’s Theatre and the highly anticipated return of theatre to Melbourne, St. Collins Lane will play host to a beautiful costume display that can’t be seen anywhere else in the world.

Inspired by Anna’s iconic attire in the hit Disney animation feature and created by award-winning designer Christopher Oram, this traditional Norwegian dress was previously on display in Times Square in New York City.

The costumes in Frozen were handmade in Australia, and Anna’s coronation gown features hand-crafted details like bespoke ribbon embroidery that took over 100 hours to produce, this breathtaking installation that traces the progress from sketches to stage is one not to miss.

Located on Level One of St. Collins Lane and completely free, musical fans are invited to experience Frozen in a whole new way.

Perfect for a day out with friends or a school holiday activity with the family, Anna’s coronation dress will be on display at St. Collins Lane until the 24th of January 2022.

Produced by Disney Theatrical Productions (The Lion King, Aladdin, Mary Poppins), Frozen features music and lyrics by Academy Award®-winning songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, with book by Academy Award®-winning writer Jennifer Lee, direction by Tony® Award winner Michael Grandage and choreography by Tony® Award winner Rob Ashford.

Adapted from the Disney film and original 1844 fairy tale by Danish author Hans Christian Andersen The Snow Queen, Frozen is brought to fresh theatrical life in this luxurious new musical.

Frozen’s journey sweeps audiences up into its thrilling world of adventure and classic comedy. While it does feature true love, the story has become beloved around the world for breaking the princess mold of girls needing to be saved by a prince, instead, focusing on the bond of two sisters, Elsa and Anna.

Frozen the Musical is now playing at Her Majesty’s theatre with tickets are available via Ticketek here.
