The 2023 Good Food & Wine Show held at the ICC Sydney was a true paradise for food and drink enthusiasts. One of the most captivating exhibits was the “Spirits of Golden Age: Long Drink” booth. Their refreshing and unique take on the classic long drink left a lasting impression on visitors. Murray’s Brewing Company brought their A-game with their Darkside Coffee Liqueur. Fair Drinks made a statement with its lineup of distinctive spirits. The Fair Quinoa Vodka, Fair Juniper Gin, and Fair Belize Rum XO showcased the brand’s commitment to sustainability and fair trade practices. Each spirit had its own unique character and flavour profile, leaving attendees impressed with the quality and ethical production behind the products.
Headlands Distilling Co presented a range of exceptional gins and whiskies. The Boobialla Gin, Tidal Lines Illawarra Plum Infused Gin, and Single Malt Whisky Apera Cask were particularly memorable. The gins offered an intriguing blend of botanicals, with the Illawarra Plum infusion adding a distinctly Australian touch. The Single Malt Whisky, aged in Apera casks, boasted complexity and depth that whiskey enthusiasts appreciated.
Underground Spirits showcased their creativity with a range of distinctive offerings. Their Vodka with Caramel and Shiraz Gin with Tasmanian pepperberries stood out for their innovative flavour combinations. The vodka’s subtle caramel notes added a touch of sweetness, while the gin’s unique infusion of pepperberries provided a pleasant spiciness.
Small Mouth Handcrafted Vodka brought a touch of glamour to the event with its shimmering liqueurs. The Shimmering Watermelon Liqueur, Shimmering Habanero Storm Liqueur, and Shimmering Blueberry Liqueur captivated attendees with their vibrant colours and delightful flavours. These liqueurs tasted fantastic and added a visually stunning element to any cocktail.
Cointreau impressed visitors with their spicy margarita, showcasing the versatility of this timeless orange liqueur. The infusion of spices added an exciting twist to the classic cocktail, resulting in a truly memorable drinking experience.
Feels Botanical – Eau de Vie grape spirit introduced attendees to a unique range of flavors. Their Bask, Rouse, and Revel spirits incorporated unconventional ingredients like hemp, quandong, horny goat weed, and ginseng, creating a sensory adventure. Each spirit offered a distinct and intriguing combination of botanicals, leaving guests pleasantly surprised.
Jimmy Rum’s Barbados, RumRum Cask Strength, and Dirty Spiced Jimmy were absolute hit among rum enthusiasts.
