To immortalise the crunchiest of chips that have just landed in the form of Smith’s Double Crunch, Smith’s is on the hunt for Australia’s loudest crunchers to feature alongside Dune Rats and be part of a world-first chip NFT. History anyone?
60 lucky chip-lovers and crunch cravers will secure their place at Studio 301 in Sydney alongside Dune Rats to create music and sound with Smith’s Double Crunch chips in all their glory. The result? A masterpiece and an audio NFT – a unique, one-of-a-kind digital piece of art featuring Aussie crunchers and orchestrated by Smith’s and Dune Rats.
If you’re a loud cruncher or know of one, they want YOU involved in recording the official ‘crunch’.
To win one of the 30 double passes to the coveted recording and be part of a money-can’t-buy experience with the Dune Rats, head to the Smith’s Chips Facebook page. Then tell them why you should be part of NFT history with Smith’s Chips and Dune Rats.
Dune Rats’ singer, Danny Beus said “We’ve all been Smith’s fanatic since back in the ’90s. To think we’re now adding our own creative flair to such an iconic snack is a great moment for us. Chips are the greatest food on earth, and should we ever send a rocket into outer space to greet alien overlords, we hope this NFT and a packet of salty heaven Smith’s will be a part of our “welcome to the neighbourhood” basket.”
Smith’s Senior Brand Manager, Sam O’Donnell said: “We are stoked to be creating a piece of history with the Smith’s chip NFT, a world first, in partnership with Dune Rats. This is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity, that crunch cravers won’t want to miss!”
The Smith’s NFT has been designed to celebrate the Smith’s Double Crunch range that launched earlier this year in four fully loaded flavours: Ultimate BBQ Ribs, Hot & Spicy Chicken Wings, Cheesy Garlic Bread and Original. Built for maximum crunchability, Smith’s Double Crunch has full-on flavours, deeper ridges and has two times the crunch of Smith’s iconic Crinkle chips.
