International food and wine festival Sabor a Cabo (Flavours of Cabo) returns for its tenth year, taking place from 2 – 5 December at beautiful locations around Los Cabos, Mexico.
This year’s theme is “Simmering…a tribute to Mexican roots.” Sabor a Cabo President Alfonso Vazquez Olivas says the festival celebrates and highlights traditional cuisine and wines of Baja California Sur.
The event brings together top international and local chefs, in a busy schedule of events over the week, held in picturesque locations around the region.
Los Cabos’ restaurant association CANIRAC said that in its tenth year, Sabor a Cabo has established itself as an international event; helping to promote Los Cabos’ thriving culinary scene.
December 2: Sabor a Cabo Beer Fest
Cabo San Lucas hosts a lively array of food vendors, traditional crafts displays, live music, and of course, a selection of the best beer from around Mexico.
December 3: Sabor a Cabo Art Walk & Wine
The gallery district in the historic old town of San Jose del Cabo welcomes guests to enjoy an evening of art and local culinary offerings, accompanied by a selection of great wines from Baja California Sur.
December 5: Evening Under the Stars
The main event of Sabor a Cabo takes place in the stunning seaside sanctuary of Chileno Bay, and features dishes from nearly 40 restaurants and a live concert by singer- songwriter, Lila Downs. As in years past, the proceeds from the event will be donated to the Los Cabos Fire Department and Children’s Foundation.
The festival is sponsored by the Los Cabos Tourism Board. Managing Director Ruben Reachi said: “With so many great culinary offerings in Los Cabos we are pleased to support the tenth edition of this wonderful event. Sabor a Cabo is one of many annual events that tourists and locals alike look forward to year after year.”
