Sitting front and centre at The Rocks, with an Insta-worthy view of the Sydney Opera House, RUNAWAY Gardens is a carefully curated food lover’s paradise. There are gourmet dishes, fine wine, craft beer, spirits, champagne, and cocktails sure to satisfy every palate and keep you fuelled for the jaw-dropping performances on show in the Magic Mirrors Spiegeltent.
Indulge in Lobster & Co’s decadent pop-up dining experience served out of a vintage-style caravan. The incredible lobster roll, served with a side of truffle parmesan fries and a glass of Pommery Champagne, is absolute perfection and not to be missed!
Agape Organic, uses the best organic, sustainable, and local produce and caters to meat lovers, pescatarians, vegetarians and vegans (with halal and gluten-free options). Serving up some of the most delectable street food around, from gourmet burgers to delicious purple corn soft tacos, calamari or artisan hampers to share.
When it comes to toasting the talent (or yourself!), there’s classy cocktails and naughty nightcaps that will take you back to the heady days of the original Spiegeltent, when the liquor flowed and the energy was crackling.
Using their award-winning spirits, Archie Rose will pour half a dozen classic cocktails that are the staple of kabaretts around the world, adding their own modern twist. Think Red Centre Negronis, Vodka Mango Spritz with Lime and Chilli, Sunrise Lime Gin Sorbet, and of course, good old-fashioned G&Ts. It wouldn’t be RUNAWAY Gardens without copious amounts of gin!
Atomic make beer for people who want a coldy that won’t leave them feeling thirsty, and they’re bringing their flagship brews plus a few surprises from their Redfern home. Whether you fancy a Pale or Hazy Ale, a Lager or a Brown Ale, they’ve got what you need to extend the good times by the harbour.
Zilzie Wines are known for crafting fabulous wines from many Australian wine regions for those special moments in life – moments that will be remembered for a lifetime, just like a night at RUNAWAY Gardens. They’ll be serving six premium wines including their Rosé, Sauvignon Blanc, and Cabernet Merlot.
If it’s bubbles that get you going, settle in for a glass or three of Pommery – it’s liquid bliss! Delicate, lively, and with the elegance that only real champagne can boast. Founder Madame Pommery described her champagne in two words – joyful lightness – and they’ll be pouring their Pommery Brut Royal NV glasses for RUNAWAY Gardens festivalgoers.
Mr. Black Roasters & Distillers will put their unique stamp on one of Australia’s favourite cocktails – serving up the Mr Black Espresso Martini from their Caffeine Caravan. Made using specialty-grade beans just north of Sydney, Mr Black are the boozy coffee expert here to take Aussies’ love of coffee into the night.
Open from 4-10 pm Tuesday to Thursday, and 12 noon to 11 pm (Friday and Saturday) and 10 pm (Sunday), RUNAWAY Gardens is the perfect change of pace from your usual night out, so grab your friends and bring your appetite. It all wraps up in just six weeks!

Spice up your night with her band of bohemian misfits who’ll serve up a side of sizzling entertainment after you’ve savoured the finest assortment of beer, wine, champagne, cocktails and gourmet food.
