Already one of the hottest places in town to sip a spritz with brunch or lunch, Quick Brown Fox is giving Sydneysiders more hours in the day to soak up the good time vibes with its new After Hours by QBF evening spritz and snacks bar.
Launching this Thursday 10 November, and running 3:30pm til late Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, After Hours by QBF will make the most of Sydney’s lighter evenings and warmer weather, serving up wine bar-style snacks and summery beverages across its airy courtyard and coveted alfresco streetside seating with leafy greenery overhead.
Head Chef Daniel Grey presents some of his best work in the new short and sharp snacks menu with Mediterranean flavours drawing from his experiences in the kitchens of AALIA and The Apollo.
Highlights include: anchovy toast with housemade fermented chilli mayo, eschallot and chives; Appellation Oysters served natural or with a Champagne vinaigrette; grilled miso burnt butter King Prawns; and eggplant with a sticky tamarind peanut glaze.
The menu has been designed to pair with Quick Brown Fox’s list of sunny signature spritzes – Aperol, Elderflower and Rossini – and an all-Australian (except the bubbly) list of small batch, often organic wines from boutique makers like Inkwell, Maker Master Merchant and Mercer, available by the glass and bottle.
With a buzzy curbside vibe, soundtrack of big beats and summer tunes, and surrounds of lush leafy trees, festive strings of exposed bulbs and Pyrmont’s villages heritage sandstone cottages, After Hours by QBF will make for a great date night, pre- (or post) dinner, pre-theatre or after work drinks option.
