Nesuto Leura Gardens

Nesuto offers the comfort of apartment living and helps take the stress out of my travel journey. Redefining apartment hotel stays across Australia, New Zealand and beyond.

On my road trip to the Blue Mountains, I stayed at the Nesuto Leura Gardens for one night and I was welcomed as if I had stayed here before – I was home. Side note: there was a connection with this property as it was managed by the Blue Mountains Hotel School across the road (where I did study my post-grad)

Just 90 minutes from Sydney by car or two hours by train, the Nesuto Leura Gardens is set within acres of landscaped gardens and overlooking the Leura Golf Course. Plus its only minutes from Leura Village, where you can find boutique shopping, galleries, cafes and delicatessens.

It’s the perfect place to escape and explore the best of the World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains. Visit the historic Everglades house and gardens, the majestic Leura Cascades (currently closed due to Covid-19), the picturesque Echo Point lookout, the famous Three Sisters overlooking the Jamison Valley and Scenic World, home of the steepest passenger railway in the world. The team are so friendly here and love a chat. Ask for some help on the top places to visit or ask for their Stay & Play Guide.

Nesuto Leura Gardens offers a range of facilities however most of them were closed due the Covid-19. But when it does open, you can enjoy the outdoor swimming pool, guest lounge with fireplace, games room with tennis table, BBQ area, Olive Tree Restaurant and Jasmine Restaurant.

Rest assured, they do offer complimentary self-car parking, WiFi, self-service laundry facilities and a continental breakfast in-room (or on the go for me).

There are plenty of room options available for couples, families and accessibility. I stayed in a very spacious Superior Rooms (approx 24sqm) and designed with comfortable blue and soft timber tones overlooking the golf course. A hot shower after a long day and a king size bed with so much room I didn’t know what to do (except do a starfish stretch).

Rates were reasonable and the location was perfect for my trip. I’d recommend it for sure and look forward to returning when the other facilities are open again. I mean, imagine having a long lunch  at the restaurant with views over Lady Fairfax Gardens – total bliss.
