? Mirabeau Dry Rosé Gin

Introducing Mirabeau Dry Rosé Gin, a sophisticated, first-of-its kind rosé gin and redefining spirit, arrives in Australia just in time for summer celebrations and festivities. Brought to life by innovative award-winning rosé brand Maison Mirabeau, founded by British rosé producers Stephen and Jeany Cronk, the 100% grape-based neutral spirit sets the bar when it comes to stunning summertime spirits.

After selling their London home, uplifting their family and risking it all to move to Provence to create rosé wines for people to enjoy back in 2010, the family hasn’t looked back.

Now a bestselling French rosé brand in the UK and Europe, Maison Mirabeau has consistently been rated amongst the best rosé producers in the world. Having been awarded a host of medals and awards from The Drinks Business, Falstaff and IWSC to name a few, as well as being highly rated with Decanter, Wine Advocate and Wine Enthusiast, it is credit to their focus on producing premium quality dry rosé wines and now spirits.

Taking inspiration from the abundance of botanicals found along the French Riviera, the Cronks expanded their rosé wine repertoire to include a truly unique and original award-winning dry gin. After great success and flying off the shelves in Europe, following its launch in 2020, the brand is delighted to be launching in Australia – a country the Cronks have long had a love affair with following Stephen’s extensive travels here and a stint living down under.

Unlike others in the growing pink gin category, Mirabeau has used grape spirit, made from upcycled grape skins post pressing from winemaking, as its base. The addition of its award-winning Rosé as an element in the macerate of botanicals confers a lovely roundness to the final blend. Botanical ingredients evocative of the French Riviera, add further aromatic layers, a delicious complexity and luxurious texture.

The result is a pale pink gin, with a unique style, bringing a burst of Riviera aromas to captivate the increasing numbers of gin lovers worldwide. This evocative liquid has multiple Gold medals to its name, notably from the World Spirits Awards, the ISW, the Bartender Spirits Awards as well as a Silver from the San Francisco Spirits Awards. Equally true to the beauty of the brand, Mirabeau’s stunning Dry Rosé gin bottle – inspired by French Perfumery – has also scooped up Drinks Business’s best Design and Packaging prize.

Stephen Cronk, Maison Mirabeau Founder said: “What truly sets Mirabeau Dry Rosé Gin apart is that it is at its core, a true gin, unlike many of its counterparts, with juniper being a dominant component. The delicate signature flavours come from traditional distillation with no need for sugary additions. We wanted to remain authentic to our winemaking heritage and ensure that the palette for which our wines are known for wasn’t lost when developing our signature, and inaugural gin.

“To bring our award-winning Mirabeau Dry Rosé Gin to Australia, a place very close to our hearts, really is a humbling experience. Our renowned commitment to quality and consistency has enabled us to make our dream come true as we expand internationally and bring our gin to more people across the globe. Just as you can’t make a great wine with average grapes, the quality of the botanicals and grape spirit we use are key to the success of Mirabeau’s Dry Rosé Gin, and we will never compromise on that,” Cronk continued.

Maison Mirabeau wines have already made their mark and are a firm favourite amongst many Aussies, which will only further pique the interest of established fans.

Mirabeau sources its base botanicals from the best suppliers around the globe and the core is then enhanced by the judicious addition of accent plants unique to the locality, like the aromatic lemon of Menton and Lavender from the Drôme Provençal.

The various components all bring softness and prettiness to a classic core, making this gin round enough to be sipped alone.

The Riviera Paloma is a great summer soiree serving suggestion, along with the classic Rosé Margarita.

No doubt Mirabeau Dry Rosé Gin, a beautifully sophisticated, small-batch, dry gin, will reset the benchmark for the pink gin category here in Australia.

Mirabeau Dry Rosé Gin is gluten-free, 100% naturally flavoured with no residual sugar, and made in France with carefully selected botanicals. It is available in Dan Murphy’s and BWS Australia-wide, AUD $79.99.
