Merivale at Home, a new at-home dining service that delivers outstanding menu, drink and produce boxes straight to your door.

Sydneysiders can now enjoy menus from Mr. Wong, Totti’s, Bert’s Bar & Brasserie, Fred’s and Vinnie’s Pizza, prepared using the best produce available.

Backed by Merivale’s formidable line-up of hospitality heavyweights including Executive Chefs Dan Hong, Danielle Alvarez, Jordan Toft, Mike Eggert, Ben Greeno and Vincenzo Biondini, alongside Master Sommelier Franck Moreau and multi-award-winning Group Bars Manager, Sam Egerton.

Justin Hemmes, CEO of Merivale, said: “Now, with our regular operations on hold due to government restrictions, and our chefs and sommeliers craving new creative outlets, we have been able to launch and deliver at a time when our guests need it most. We’re thrilled that we can keep being a part of their lives and bring the best of Merivale to their homes”.

Packed with all the ingredients needed to whip up signature dishes from Sydney’s best and most-loved restaurants, Merivale at Home offers five menus to choose from, each changing regularly ($70-95 for two). The meals are nearly ready to eat, with the finishing touches easy enough for any home cook.

For drinks, diners can order the accompanying Merivale at Home drinks pack ($40-$115). Moreau has handpicked wines to complement each menu, while multi-award-winning Egerton has created pre-batched aperitifs, like Negronis for Totti’s and Martinis for Bert’s. The new at-home sommelier service provides access to Merivale’s world class sommelier team who will be on hand to provide recommendations over the phone and open up the ivy cellar for bespoke drink orders.

Merivale is also supporting its long-standing food suppliers by offering home-delivered, restaurant-quality produce boxes. Guests can order the fresh fruit and vege box from Parisi, premium meat including grain-fed sirloin steak, lamb cutlets and Riverina T-Bone steaks from Havericks, and high-quality fresh seafood like scallops, live mussels, snapper fillets, cooked farm prawns and rock oysters from Poulous Bros. The boxes are complete with a list of weekly recipe suggestions from Alvarez.

Parisi’s Julian Parisi said: “We are extremely grateful and inspired by Merivale’s ambition to create a new business during this time. More than ever, people are wanting to order from a trusted source that meets expectations and delivers in a safe way. Alongside Havericks and Poulous Bros, we can now provide Sydneysiders with the very best produce we can get our hands on, and inspire them to create exceptional dining experiences of their own”.

Hemmes continued: “We want to encourage our guests to stay local and support the farmers, fishermen, winegrowers and producers who need our help more than ever. Our supply chain has been hit hard with drought, bushfires and now, COVID-19. We are really proud to continue to support these incredible people, and help maintain a livelihood for as many employees as possible”.

Merivale At Home joins Pick Up at Totti’s in Merivale’s initiatives to operate under the government’s new takeaway and home delivery guidelines. The Bondi local is now offering takeaway, available to pick-up from The Bottle Shop, 5-10pm every night and every weekend lunch. It will also be open on Good Friday.

Merivale at Home launches at 10am, Monday 6 April. Easter orders must be submitted by midnight tonight, 6 April, to ensure timely delivery.
