Mach2 by Machiavelli unveiled their new and stylish dining experience at Sydney’s International T1 Airport. Whether it’s holding the final business meeting or family meal before boarding the plane, Mach2, located land side, behind counter H is serving up delicious Italian dishes, bursting with authenticity and big flavours.
Attending the lavish opening launch, Mach2 lived up to the Machiavelli name. Guests were treated to fabulous canapes and bevois and we watched Peter Fitzsimons unveiled his portrait; one of many black and white photos that was displayed on the walls. Guests included Kerrie Mather – Chief Executive of Sydney Airport, Caterina Tarchi of Machiavelli and the owners of Airport Retail Enterprises, Peter and Helen Butts.
The casual dining space boasts an open kitchen, showcasing the theatre of Italian cooking. Serving Machiavelli pork and veal meatballs on a bed of fresh pasta, antipasto, aalamari fritti and more. With its stylish and modern fit-out seating 80 people and boasting Machiavelli’s famous photography wall art, Mach2 offers a full bar and wine list, a kids Menu and also serves take-away café snacks & Caffe Aurora from the house of Vittoria.

Mach2, the younger sister to its famed Sydney restaurant, is reviving the food and beverage offering at T1. Airport Retail Enterprises was the first to offer espresso coffee and freshly cooked meals at Australian airports and they are now serving up Australia’s favourite eaterie to the outbound traveller.
