We are all desperate for the chance to travel again; to laze by a gorgeous pool, visit some beautiful cities, sip a Mai Tai on a foreign rooftop bar… and most importantly, relax and unwind after what most would consider their busiest year yet. With our wanderlust being placed on pause for the last couple of years, travel is BACK, and the Holiday & Travel Show is set to inform, entice and excite Aussies about their next, long-awaited adventure.
The events will be held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre (October 22nd and 23rd), followed by Sydney Showground (October 29th and 30th) and the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (November 5th and 6th). It will be the first travel show back since the pandemic, and boy, do we need it!
Each two-day event brings the opportunity to engage with experts and exhibitors from different areas of travel, both locally and internationally, including tours, cruises, hotels, tourism bodies, and so much more, helping to curate and map out that next dream holiday.
Attendees will also have access to the best travel tips and information, film sessions hosted by exhibitors and a chance to win big prizes. With sponsors such as Norwegian Cruise Line, Inspiring Vacations, Great Southern, Indian Pacific, and The Ghan confirmed, there’s something for every type of traveller. You can even chat with presenters from Australia’s longest-running travel television program, Getaway, who will be on hand at each event.
Gary Fitz-Roy, MD of Expertise Events, said, “Travel is back with bells on, with borders open and airports busy again. People are desperate to get back out into the world and enjoy a well-deserved holiday.
The Holiday &Travel Show will give people the chance to talk to owners and operators from across the globe, people who are from those locations & hotels so that they can get first-hand knowledge about their next trip. This event will provide everyone with inspiration, but also information to help them plan and book their next holiday,” continued Fitz-Roy. ”
The Holiday &Travel Show is free-to-attend for visitors wanting to discover their own backyard or an international destination that appeared out of reach for so many years.
