In an exclusive collaboration, the trendy beachfront hotspot, North Bondi Fish, will be the only place in Sydney where you can get the first taste of the newest Hendrick’s release.
North Bondi Fish will be offering a menu inspired by the peculiar sea botanicals that infuse Hendrick’s NEPTUNIA Gin until 20 June. The sea-spired menu will feature five Cocktails paired with delicious snacks showcasing fresh seafood fresh out of the deep blue sea. This menu is set to take your taste buds on a journey, inspired by the enchanting melody of the waves crashing on the rugged Girvan coastline of Southwest Scotland.
NEPTUNIA x North Bondi Fish Menu
Rock oysters, gin and cucumber granita
Sea Breeze Martini – Neptuna gin, vodka, dry vermouth, pickled cucumber, lemon
Just like the oysters, this cocktail is super fresh with a little bit of salt. It pays an ode to the classic Hendricks flavours with a touch of pickled cucumber. This take on a Vesper Martini will leave you wanting another and 6 more oysters to accompany.
Kingfish Crudo, yuzu, Mandarin and puffed rice
Vitamin Sea – Neptuna gin, Aperol, Okar Tropic, mandarin, seaweed
A clean citrus expression served on the rocks. Citrus, as always, goes delightfully with any Hendricks gin. Pairing the Neptunia with kingfish & citrus brings out the best flavours in both.
Rockmelon and Stracciatella Salad, soft herbs
Coastal Tonic – Hendricks gin, elderflower liqueur, Fever tree Mediterranean tonic, fennel, thyme, seaweed.
This herbaceous G&T will be delicious with some melon & stracciatella. The fizz will cut through the creaminess of the cheese, whilst the fruit and herbs will pair perfectly.
Pickled sardines, green tomato, fried capers, toast
Red Snapper – Hendricks Neptunia, house-made roasted tomato juice, sardine pickle, tabasco, pickled cucumber, caper berries, Worcestershire sauce.
A take on the classic, a Bloody Mary with gin. Slightly salty, fresh and vibrant. The spice will cut through the pickled sardine, whilst the tomatoes go hand in hand. Breakfast of champions.
Roasted Scallops, Lemon myrtle butter
Native Neptunia – Neptunia gin, Fever tree Yuzu & lime soda, lemon myrtle, lemon
Bringing flavours of the Scottish coastline together with one of Australia’s best native ingredients. This highball pairing will be a flavour explosion. The lemon myrtle in both the cocktail and the food goes swimmingly with the slight saline & citrus characteristics of Neptunia.
