Their stylish, luxe restaurant is ideally geographically situated for a happy hour – a few hundred metres away from Circular Quay station and an easy light rail from the CBD business district, it’s a convenient location to gather with friends to enjoy unsurpassable traditional French food.

Despite the cost of living crisis, Bouillon l’Entrecôte don’t want any Sydneysiders to have to stop enjoying the finer things in life, which is why they’ve rolled out a deliciously French Happy Hour, from 4pm – 6pm, Mon – Sat.

Make like you’re in Europe and rip up a baguette ($5) and slather it in rich butter, maybe top it with some cheese from your cheese plate ($15). There’s also saucisson (salami – $8) or jamon ($15) if you’re a charcuterie lover. Chase it down with a French martini or negroni ($12), or even better, a kir (French cocktail made with a measure of crème de cassis topped up with white wine – you’ll remember it was a favourite drink of the crew in Emily in Paris!) ($8). A G & T, or a Monaco (a fruity beer-based cocktail) is also $8, or a glass of house red, white or sparkling, or a Kronenberg or Coopers (all $9).

Stay longer and order their iconic steak frites with secret sauce, or – with VIVID currently taking over the harbour – Bouillon l’Entrecôte’s Happy Hour provides the perfect option to fuel up before you head off for a night wandering through the lights. Once you’re done, why not swing back and warm yourself up with a nightcap and an apple Tarte Tatin – Bouillon l’Entrecôte are open late until 11pm.
