Hacienda Sydney turns one!

Hacienda Sydney

Last night was the highly anticipated 1st birthday party of renowned vista bar, Hacienda Sydney. Amongst the hundreds of guests who attended the cocktail event, one could not look past Casey Burgess, Betty Banks, Arrnott Olssen, Matt De Groot and the Gangsater twins, Johan & Henrik. Sydney’s well-known foodie-lites also made an appearance, Shannon Cremer, Simon & Patrick Leong, Alex Adams, and I (@travel.lifestyleblog) enjoyed the evening tasting Exec Chef Stefan’s new menu and plentiful of Veuve Clicquot champagne.

Guests were welcomed on arrival with one of the bars signature cocktails, Cayo Coco Colada – blanco rum, lime, coconut cream, mango sorbet and fresh pineapple. With spectacular views across Sydney Harbour, guests also sipped on a premium selection of wine and beer throughout the night.

Hacienda Sydney is the ultimate hot spot at Sydney’s Circular Quay. Taking inspiration from Cuba’s plantation-style feel with a hint of modern luxe from vintage Miami hotels of the 1950’s. The botanical oasis is perched on level two of Pullman Quay Grand Sydney Harbour and you will not be disappointed. This exciting cocktail bar turns cocktails into an art form and truly a satisfying experience.

Bartenders and mixologist have more to offer than oranges, straight-ups and Cosmos. With a bounty of international flavours and tastes, an exciting means to exotic fruits and cold brews.

Exec Chef Stefan Brademann is at the helm of the kitchen and chose the celebration last night to give guests an exclusive taste of some of the brand-new items from his new menu which launches to all patrons. Inspired by Cuba’s traditional trading partners and their local, abundant ingredients, Stefan creates dishes unique to Hacienda. Showcasing a selection of the new dishes from the full menu guests enjoyed Latin and American delights such as Oyster ceviche; Prawn cigars; selection of poke bowls; chorizo, pineapple & jalapeno skewers; vacca fritta; sliders and Miami cheese dogs. For dessert, guests indulged in sweet treats such as Portuguese tarts and chocolate crunch.

With panoramic views of the city and Sydney Harbour and an interior with subtle botanical and lux-vintage Latin American themes, Hacienda has an emphasis on sharp service, delicious food and a stylish drink selection in a truly unique Sydney setting.
