December has snuck up quickly this year and it’s about time we think of where to go eat during Christmas Day. As I know some of you, like I, would rather be eating than sweating in the kitchen.
A modern rendition of a Christmas feast at Gowings Bar & Grill begins with Perrier-Jouët Champagne and canapés, followed by an extravagant Fruit de Mer Platter complete with ocean trout gravlax; trout caviar; beer steamed prawns; wasabi cream; spinach blinis; hot garlic; hot garlic, mint and gruyère bread; and cocktail and cognac sauces.
Wood-roasted suckling pork belly and stuffed free-range turkey with black truffle gravy creates the centrepiece before the Christmas puddings are served with lashings of Egg Nog, coffee and panforte. All in the comfort of QT Sydney’s stylish restaurant.
