The annual Good Food and Wine Show kicked off on Friday (22nd – 24th June) with a delicious selection of breakfast bubbles, Moscato and bite-sized brunch samplers, accompanied by celebrity chefs Maggie Beer, Matt Moran, Manu Feildel and Colin Fassnidge.
The morning brunch at the Wine Selectors Cellar Door was an intimate preview tasting of what to expect at this year’s show.
Our celebrity chefs took to the mic to announce their buddying Chef’s Lunch concepts like husband and wife duo, Manu & Clarissa Feilde and share their latest culinary projects.
Maggie Beer made a special mention of her work on the Maggie Beer Foundation, an education program working to ensure older Australians, particularly those living in aged care homes, have fresh wholesome, seasonal food, abundant with flavour, joy and pleasure.
Inspiring conversations with change-making chefs like Beer was a feature of this years show, along with sit down Chefs Lunches, and wine pairing programs, champaign high teas, ‘wine walks’.
This year’s show also brought new local and international wines and artisan products for foodies alike to discover truffles, cheeses and handmade teas, along with 200 other exhibitors.
Good food and good wine can’t be without good company to share new ingredients, products, cooking ideas and tips. The Good Food & Wine Show makes for an exceptionally tasteful weekend experience with friends leaving you feeling inspired by what the food and beverage industry is doing for all.
