The White Place

There’s no doubt why Orange is a favourite regional escape, with over 60 wineries, award-winning restaurants, and unique boutiques.

Where to stay:

The White Place
After a day filled with wine tasting, eating delicious cuisine and taking in the Autumn foliage, there’s no better place to relax than The White Place Home, with two stylish yet cosy homes on offer (Byng Street and Casey Street). These homes are meticulously designed for form and function, inviting your eyes and senses to a living experience that goes beyond the everyday.

Byng Street is an expansive, double brick house with ornate ceilings, polished timber floors, fireplaces and lead-light windows. The large open plan layout of the kitchen, dining and multiple living rooms provides a great area to relax and unwind with friends and family. The house has an outside deck and underground pool perfect for hot summer days. With four lavish bedrooms, you can bring the whole crew.

Casey Street is the latest addition to The White Place Family, a gorgeous, light filled sanctuary. The house features four bedrooms, two full bathrooms equipped with stunning furnishings and homewares. The Casey Home lives up to its name with a fresh all-white palette and charming details including moulded plaster ceilings, rattan furnishing, stone-clad bench style dining and a new Scandi-style kitchen with lush marble bench.

The eclectic blend of styles brings accents of the Balinese tropics and a Safari getaway tied together seamlessly with the formal elements of Modern Scandi style, giving way to simplicity and curiosity to this gem located in the heart of Orange. The thoughtful touches of double wick candles, fresh cut flowers, house plants, and artworks make The White Place a delight to stay at and escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

The best part is if the decor catches your eye, everything is available for purchase at the White Place Lifestyle Store.

The White Place Home is available for booking by contacting them directly on 02 6363 1160 or sales@thewhiteplace.com.au, or via Airbnb using these links to Byng Street or book Casey Street.

Where to Drink:

Heifer Station Winery
One of Orange’s most popular wineries, Heifer station is a must visit. Nestled amongst the beautiful country garden and vineyards the cellar door is rustic and charming. Enjoy a wine tasting of their signature wines and delicious cheese board amongst the resident farm animals. Kids and adults alike can get up close and personal with the Heifer Station locals ranging from chooks, goats, a mini shetland pony, and the famous highland cows with their fluffy coats and long horns.

Heifer Station Wines offers range of experiences from tastings, private picnics packages and Vineyard tours and roaming tastings.

Nashdale Wines
Surrounded by orchards, olive groves and idyllic views of Mount Canoblas you’ll find Nashdale Wines cellar door. This young winery has stand out tasting experiences featuring a delicious line up, including Pinot Gris, Riesling, Arneis, Chardonnay, Rosé, Pinot Noir, Tempranillo and Shiraz.

Where to Shop:

The White Place
A trip to Orange isn’t complete without venturing to the charming boutiques. The White Place Store brings you an eclectic mix of scouted contemporary and modern treasures for your home and life. The store features a selection of curated homewares, rugs, cushions, furniture, art, clothing and jewellery.

Orange Farmers Market
Visiting the monthly Orange Farmers Markets is a quintessential experience. We started our day like the locals with a bacon and egg roll and coffee for breakie before shopping the flavours of Orange from local vendors with an abundance of fresh produce, cheese, artisan bread and pastries, preserves, and more. Don’t forget to stop by local treasure, Second Mouse Cheese co. to pick up their handmade artisan cheeses produced from locally sourced milk.
