Whilst the brilliant mixologists are taken a break during these tough times from the swanky cocktail bars. These cocktails never go out of style and can be easily made at home. Sometimes, all it takes is the ability to squeeze a few limes, ice from the freezer, the right glassware, and the right mixes.
BACARDÍ Mojito
Ingredients
50ml BACARDÍ Carta Blanca rum
25ml Lime juice
12 Mint leaves
2tsp Extra fine sugar
25ml Soda water
Method
• Take the lime wedges and squeeze them into the glass. Gently press together the limes and sugar.
• Add mint to glass, and press with spoon to release oil.
• Next, half fill the glass with crushed ice, add the BACARDÍ Carta Blanca rum and churn.
• Top with crushed ice and soda. Garnish with a mint sprig.
BACARDÍ Cuba Libre
Ingredients
• 50ml BACARDÍ Carta Oro Rum
• 100ml Coke
• 2 Lime Wedges
Method
• Fill highball (tall glass) with ice
• Squeeze 2 lime wedges and drop into glass
• Pour rum and top with coke
• Stir and garnish with lime
BOMBAY SAPPHIRE SUNSET & Tonic
Ingredients
• 50ml BOMBAY SAPPHIRE SUNSET
• 100ml premium tonic water (Fever-Tree)
• 1 Orange wheel (garnish)
• 1 Star anise (garnish)
Method
• Add orange wheel and star anise garnish
• Build over ice cubes and serve in a wine glass or a highball.
BOMBAY SAPPHIRE Negroni
Ingredients
• 25ml BOMBAY SAPPHIRE
• 25ml Martini Rosso Vermouth
• 25ml Martini Bitter
• 1 Orange
Method
• Fill tumbler (short glass) with ice
• Build all ingredients and stir gently to mix
• Garnish with orange zest
GREY GOOSE Dirty Martini
Ingredients
• 40ml GREY GOOSE vodka
• 15ml Mediterranean olive brine
• 4 Mediterranean olives
Method
• Pit four olives and muddle with the olive brine in the base of a tumbler (short glass).
• Add GREY GOOSE vodka.
• Top with cubed ice and stir.
• Fine strain into a chilled Martini glass.
• Garnish with a pair of Mediterranean olives.
GREY GOOSE Bloody Mary
Ingredients
• 50ml GREY GOOSE Vodka
• 100ml Tomato juice
• 25ml Fresh lemon juice
• 5ml Worcestershire sauce
• 5 dashes Tabasco (hot sauce)
• Pinch of salt and pepper
• Celery
Method
• Fill highball (tall glass) with ice
• Build ingredients and stir gently
• Garnish with fresh-cut celery
Patrón Paloma
Ingredients
• 60ml PATRÓN Silver
• 90ml Grapefruit soda
• 15ml Fresh lime juice
• Pinch of salt
• 1 Grapefruit slice (garnish)
• Salt rim (optional)
Method
• Create a salt rim if you want
• Add all ingredients to an ice-filled highball glass and stir
• Garnish with a grapefruit slice.
Patrón Classic Margarita
Ingredients
• 45ml PATRÓN Silver
• 30ml PATRÓN Citrónge Orange (or Cointreau)
• 25ml Fresh juice
• 2 Limes
• Salt rim (optional)
Method
• Create a salt rim if you want
• Combine liquid ingredients in a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously with ice to chill.
• Strain onto fresh ice in a tumbler (short glass) and garnish with a lime wedge.
