Wollongong is about 1hr 30min from Sydney and is NSW’s newest foodie destination. Cedar’s Kitchen are proud supporters of the Rural Aid ‘Parma for a Farmer’ campaign. In partnership with South Coast Chickens, Cedar’s Kitchen will be donating $2 from every Chicken Parmigiana sold between Friday 10 – 31 August 2018 to the buyabale.com.au initiative, which provides funds to struggling farmers in Central NSW.
Cedar’s Kitchen is one of the many establishments in the Wollongong CBD and Illawarra region to show its support of the ‘Parma for a Farmer’ initiative, bringing together the sense of community, of which the region is best known for.
“As a small business, the ‘Parma for a Farmer’ campaign really resonates with us and is an initiative that we simply had to support. Engaging fellow small business owners to get on board with us, it’s a fantastic initiative that we hope the local community will help us support,” says Rita Andari, Restaurant Manager, Cedar’s Kitchen.
Formally known as Alwadi Lebanese Restaurant, who opened its doors to Wollongong locals in January this year, the establishment recently re-branded to Cedar’s Kitchen, serving a smorgasbord of authentic Mediterranean cuisine. Prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, Cedar’s Kitchen fuses traditional recipes with Australian favourites within a family-friendly environment, serving meals from lunch to late-night dinner plus coffee/tea, Argileh/Shisha and desserts.
With indoor and outdoor seating options, Cedar’s Kitchen is the perfect venue for all types of occasions from small to large groups, special events and off-site caterin.
