To celebrate Christmas this year, The Botanist Gin has partnered with Sydney-based florist September Studio to bring you a native botanical Christmas wreath. The limited-edition Christmas wreaths contain a gorgeous mix of Australian native botanicals that look and smell just like Christmas.
The wreath will be available to purchase at September Studio in Darlinghurst Sydney. Each wreath contains native Australian botanicals that complement The Botanist Gin, such as Eucalyptus Perriniana, Eutaxia Obovata, Blue Gum, Paper Daisies, Grevillea & Leucadendrons. The wreath also includes native Australian foragables that can be used to garnish your cocktail like Lemon Myrtle and Geraldton Wax. This limited edition wreath is not only a gorgeous piece to display in your home, but also smells absolutely divine, the perfect greeting for your guests on Christmas Day.
The Botanist Gin also features sweet and earthy flavours combined with delicate floral and herbal notes of the Islay 22. Each sip of this gin reveals deeper layers and more complex combinations of the flavours. Once you have removed The Botanist from the packaging, the tin transforms into a planter, allowing you to grow your own drink garnish that will be the perfect finishing touch to your gin.
The Botanist’s team has created three tasty cocktails for the festive season, The Lushy Machine, French 75, and a Classic Dry Martini, three refreshing and simple cocktails, perfect for Christmas day. The Lushy Machine features The Botanist Gin, fresh strawberries, full-bodied red wine syrup, and lemon juice crushed with ice and topped with fresh mixed berries. The French 75 is a classic cocktail featuring again The Botanist, zesty lemon, a little sugar syrup and topped with some bubbles. The Classic Dry Martini, made from The Botanist gin with a touch of Dry Vermouth, garnished with a green olive.
