That’s right, UK’s Rudimental have announced they will heading to Australia to perform exclusive DJ set incorporating their front man MC Leon Rolle, live vocalist Tom Jules and instrumentalist Mark Crown. Marking Heineken® Saturday’s much anticipated debut at Melbourne’s 2017 Formula 1® Rolex Australian Grand Prix.
Rudimental rose to prominence with the hit single ‘Feel The Love’ featuring John Newman in 2012. The multi-platinum award winning group sold-out their last Australian tour – We The Generation – in late 2015 and are excited to be returning to Melbourne to headline Heineken® Saturday on 25 March.
Event goers will be treated to a wide selection of the group’s chart-topping hit songs including, ‘Not Giving In’, ‘Waiting All Night’, ‘Free’ and more as they put on a high energy, fun filled show set to take Heineken’s flagship event soaring to new heights.
Supporting Rudimental will be a stellar line-up including rising star Hayden James. The singer/songwriter will showcase his renowned mixing skills, transitions and mood settings to amp up the crowd, with ‘Permission to Love’ and ‘Something About You’ set to be among the days’ highlights.
The newly created Heineken® Village will offer event goers a unique, interactive setting where they can enjoy special music performances, watch all the race action on the supersize screen and unwind and enjoy the complete bustling Formula 1 experience in style with friends. Lets not forget the range of delicious local food options available on-site: Huxtaburger, the gourmet burgers Melburnians can’t get enough of, and pizza institution 400 Gradi will be on hand to serve their award winning pizzas.
Given what is sure to be an event that is not to be missed, I suggest you book your tickets now to secure a spot as Heineken® Saturday. See all the rev head action at this year’s 2017 Formula 1® Rolex Australian Grand Prix.
